Australian musician Cameron Avery (formerly of Pond) has spent the last five years touring with Tame Impala. Now, he’s prepping a new solo album on Anti-, the label to which he just signed. The record is due out next spring. Today, Avery has shared the first offering from the album, “C’est Toi,” and its accompanying video. Directed by Joy Collective (Mike Bennet and Nathan Lewis), it features Avery at a grand piano as a couple explores New York City and Los Angeles night life. Watch it below.

In a press release, Avery said of the song:

It’s a love song I wrote about when I fell in love the last time.

I recorded it with Jonathan Wilson at Five Star...It was the first time I got to work with Jonathan, being an old friend of mine and the guy who convinced me to move to L.A. and really encouraged me to make a vocally driven album. It’s also the first time I ever let anyone co-produce with me.
