With so much good music being released all the time, it can be hard to determine what to listen to first. Every week, Pitchfork offers a run-down of significant new releases available on streaming services. This week’s batch includes new albums from J. Cole, Neil Young, Ab-Soul, the-Dream, the Microphone, the Orchestra of Syrian Musicians, and Hodgy.

J. Cole: 4 Your Eyez Only [Dreamville/Roc Nation]

After releasing a behind-the-scenes documentary called Eyez, which featured two new songs (one seemingly a Kanye West diss), J. Cole has released his fourth studio LP, 4 Your Eyez Only. Like his last album, 2014 Forest Hills Drive (which famously went double platinum), there are no featured artists.
