Mike Patton has joined up with Dead Cross, the rock supergroup featuring ex-Slayer drummer Dave Lombardo (who most recently joined the Misfits for their reunion), Justin Pearson (the Locust, Head Wound City), and Michael Crain. The Faith No More singer will serve as the band’s vocalist, replacing Gabe Serbian (also of the Locust). Patton and Lombardo previously played together in Fantômas, a supergroup formed in the late 1990s that also features the Melvins’ Buzz Osborne. Dead Cross is currently working on their debut album for Ipecac, due out in 2017.
