Fleet Foxes’ Robin Pecknold has continued to hint at new material from the band on his Instagram, and in the comments to some of these videos he has responded to fan questions about the upcoming album. The next Fleet Foxes album will apparently span 11 tracks, and be “55ish minutes” long. When another fan commented that it “sounds like there's gonna be some folk-soul songs,” Pecknold responded, “Yeah it wasn't really the plan but it's sort of turning out that way!” Find screenshots of those comments below.

Earlier this month, Pecknold confirmed that Fleet Foxes would be embarking on a world tour in 2017. An announcement that a follow-up to 2011’s fantastic Helplessness Blues was “alllllmost done” came in November.
