Paul Simon was the musical guest on last night’s episode of “Saturday Night Live,” hosted by Seth Meyers. He performed his new version of “Can’t Run But”—arranged by the National’s Bryce Dessner—with New York City-based chamber ensemble yMusic, before playing “Bridge Over Troubled Water.” Watch the former and a snippet of the latter below.

It was Simon’s ninth appearance as musical guest on “SNL,” according to Rolling Stone. “Can’t Run But” is included on his new record In the Blue Light, which features reworked versions of tracks from across his catalog. In September, Simon played the final show on his farewell tour.
