Wilco leader Jeff Tweedy performed at the Eaux Claires Music & Arts Festival in Wisconsin over the weekend, where he performed not only as a part of Wilco but also with Tweedy, his eponymous group with son Spencer. During their set, Tweedy were joined by Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, who sang backing vocals. Watch them perform Billy Bragg and Wilco’s “California Stars,” off 1998’s Woody Guthrie-honoring project Mermaid Avenue, below. The latest Wilco album, Schmilco, was released last fall. At another point during the festival, Vernon also linked up with fellow Eaux Claires organizer Aaron Dessner of the National for a performance as Big Red Machine.
