Cameron Avery, touring bassist of Tame Impala and former member of Pond, has announced his debut solo album. Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams is out March 10 via Anti-. The record includes an extended version of the previously shared “C’est Toi.” Below, hear a new song from the album called “Wasted on Fidelity.” Scroll down for Avery’s statement on the album’s inspirations, as well as the tracklist and artwork.

I wanted to make something that sounded like the old records I love—Johnny Hartman, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James—the big band stuff with less metaphorical lyrics.
