Car Seat Headrest have shared a new version of their 2011 song “Cute Thing.” Listen to it below, and compare it to the original version on Bandcamp. In the song, Will Toledo interpolates They Might Be Giants’ “Anna Ng.” He also mentions Frank Ocean and James Brown, subbing them out for original nods to Dan Bejar and John Entwistle, respectively. The updated track appears on his forthcoming Twin Fantasy album, which is a complete re-recording of Toledo’s self-released album of the same name. The new LP is due out February 16 via Matador.

CSH recently shared a new Toledo-directed music video for the new version of “Nervous Young Inhumans.” They have also announced tour dates with a seven-piece band. Their last album was 2016’s Teens of Denial. Read Pitchfork’s Icebreaker interview with Will Toledo.
