Brian Wilson Announces Live Album Featuring Zooey Deschanel, Kacey Musgraves, More

Watch him perform “Wouldn’t It Be Nice” with the Beach Boys’ Al Jardine

In December 2014, Brian Wilson played a concert in Las Vegas for a PBS “Soundstage” special called Brian Wilson and Friends. The performance featured the Beach Boys’ Al Jardine, former members Blondie Chaplin and Ricky Fataar, and a number of guests including She & Him (Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward), Kacey Musgraves, fun.’s Nate Ruess, and more. It’s now been announced that Brian Wilson and Friends will be released on CD and DVD on July 29 via BMG. The new release includes bonus tracks that were not broadcast, behind-the-scenes footage, and interviews with some of the guest artists.
