TBS has announced that it is developing a Notorious B.I.G.-inspired sitcom, created and produced by Mass Appeal. It’s called “Think B.I.G.,” and it will follow “the misadventures of an inner-city teen desperately trying to create a better future for his daughter and infant son,” according to a press release. Each episode “will be loosely based on the lyrics of Notorious B.I.G.”

“Think B.I.G.” is the latest Biggie-honoring venture since the rapper’s 1997 death. There was, most notably, the 2009 biopic Notorious, starring Jamal Woolard, who will reprise the role in the upcoming 2Pac biopic All Eyez on Me. Last year, his lyrics were featured on inspirational Sprite cans. This past May, Bad Boy celebrated his birthday with a pair of reunion concerts in Brooklyn. A Biggie hologram is currently in the works, as well.

In addition to “Think B.I.G.,” TBS and Mass Appeal have collaborated for another series called “Storyville.” Co-created by Okayplayer, the show will feature artists telling stories, which will be animated. Questlove’s story about the time Prince fired him from a DJ gig in favor for a Finding Nemo screening is a pilot for the series. Revisit that video below.
