Swamp Dogg has announced his new album Sorry You Couldn’t Make It, which arrives March 6 via Joyful Noise and Pioneer Works Press. The new song “Sleeping Without You Is a Dragg” features Jenny Lewis, Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon, and POLIÇA’s Channy Leaneagh. Have a listen below.

The new album—which follows 2018’s Love, Loss, and Auto-Tune—was produced by Gayngs and POLIÇA’s Ryan Olson. John Prine and Sam Amidon also appear on the new album.

“They didn’t have any blacks in country until Charley Pride came along,” Swamp Dogg said in a statement. “But in time, all things change and that’s what has happened to country music.... I’m anxious because it’s like I’ve taken all my money and put it on one horse. But I believe in this horse.”
