As previously reported, Matt Groening—the creator of “The Simpsons” and “Futurama”—has a new series coming to Netflix. Today, the streaming network revealed details of the upcoming cartoon, which features the voices of Abbi Jacobson (“Broad City”), Eric André, and more. “Disenchantment” follows the adventures of Bean, a “hard-drinking young princess” (voiced by Jacobson), along with her “feisty elf companion” and her “personal demon” (voiced by André). The 10-episode season arrives at Netflix on August 17.
