Vince Staples has launched a GoFundMe, seeking to raise $2 million for his early retirement. (The GoFundMe page was briefly taken down before being reinstated.) In an explainer video, Staples says, “We’ve gotten a lot of complaints about our recent show performances.” In response, he announces that he will use the money he raises to “shut the fuck up forever.” “No songs, no interviews, no anything,” he says. “Get off of my dick or fund my lifestyle,” he continues. “The choice is yours.” In further detail, he elaborates that the money will be used to fund the following items:

  • Move to Palmdale
  • Buy a Honda
  • Year supply of soups for the homies locked down
  • Buy a puppy
