XXXTentacion Postpones Tour, Says He’s “Disappearing for a While”

“I must choose to maintain my mental health and physical health before anything”

XXXTentacion has postponed the remaining dates of his Revenge Tour. In a note on the rapper’s Instagram, he apologizes to his fans and writes that he will refund all tickets. He goes on to explain that his cousin has been shot and that he “must choose to maintain my mental health & physical health before anything.” He closes the note by saying he will perform his scheduled Florida show, and then will be “disappearing for a while.” (The post has since been deleted from Instagram, along with all of his other photos.) Find a screengrab of the statement below.

XXXTentacion’s announcement follows several controversies on the tour. At a recent show, a brawl broke out after X was attacked while performing. A stabbing also took place. X was released from jail this past March after nearly six months, when he pleaded no contest to charges of armed home invasion robbery and aggravated battery with a firearm. He is currently serving six years of probation.
