Marvel’s first Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack was a surprise hit. Comprised entirely of songs from the 1960s and 1970s (by David Bowie, Marvin Gaye, the Jackson 5, and more), it was the first soundtrack in history to go No. 1 that exclusively featured previously released songs. Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 hits theaters on May 5, and today, the movie’s soundtrack—Awesome Mix, Vol. 2—has been detailed by Rolling Stone. It features classics by Fleetwood Mac, Sam Cooke, George Harrison, Electric Light Orchestra, Parliament, Cheap Trick, and more. There's also an original song, “Guardians Inferno,” written by director James Gunn and score composer Tyler Bates (credited as the Sneepers), with vocals by none other than David Hasselhoff. Find the tracklist below. The album will be released digitally April 21 and physically April 28.
