Examples include Tame Impala’s “New Person, Same Old Mistakes,” John Legend’s “Same Old Story,” Solange’s “Weary,” Beyoncé and Shakira’s “Beautiful Liar” (beautiful?), the Eagles’ “Lyin’ Eyes,” John Mayer’s “Stop This Train,” and Stevie Wonder’s “You Haven’t Done Nothin’.” There’s also stuff by Erykah Badu, Janelle Monáe, Talking Heads, the Black Keys, Esperanza Spalding, and James Blake.
