Lupe Fiasco: DROGAS Light [1st & 15/Thirty Tigers]

Lupe Fiasco’s DROGAS Light follows 2015’s Tetsuo & Youth. It features Rick Ross, Big K.R.I.T., a pair of tracks with Ty Dolla $ign, Gizzle, and others. In a candid review, Lupe gave the record a 7 out of 10.

Paul White ft. Danny Brown: Accelerator EP [R&S]

Producer Paul White has tapped longtime collaborator for his new EP, Accelerator. It’s his second EP featuring Brown, following 2013’s Street Lights. It features two new songs and their instrumentals. Read our review of the title track, and watch its insane music video.

Tinariwen: Elwan [Anti-]

Tinariwen’s new album is the follow-up to 2014’s Emmaar. The album was recorded in the desert of California’s Joshua Tree National Park, as well as in M’Hamid El Ghizlane–an oasis in southern Morocco. It features guest appearances by Kurt Vile, Matt Sweeney, Mark Lanegan, and others.
