Franz Ferdinand have announced a new album: Always Ascending is out February 9 via Domino. The band’s fifth studio LP, it follows 2013’s Right Thoughts, Right Words, Right Action and the 2015 collaborative album FFS. They’ve also shared the title track and announced a new string of tour dates. Below, listen to “Always Ascending” and find the album tracklist and cover art, as well as Franz Ferdinand’s upcoming concert itinerary. Later today, the band will preview the new record at Point Ephémère in Paris. The event will stream on their Facebook page beginning at 3:30 p.m. Eastern.

Franz Ferdinand recorded Always Ascending with producer Philippe Zdar, who’s worked with Cassius, Phoenix, and the Beastie Boys, among others. It’s the band’s first LP with their new lineup: Earlier this year, they added Julian Corrie (keyboards, guitar) and Dino Bardot (guitar), who join original members Alex Kapranos, Bob Hardy, and Paul Thomson. Another co-founder, Nick McCarthy, left the group in 2016.
