Charlie Quintana, Social Distortion and Cracker Drummer, Dead at 56

Punk rock drummer Charlie Quintana has died, as Billboard reports. He was 56 years old. Quintana was best known for his stints in Cracker, Social Distortion, and the Plugz. Over the course of his career, he also performed in bands including the Cruzados and the Havalinas. During his time in the Plugz, Quintana recorded in the studio alongside Bob Dylan and went on to perform as part of his band in the early 1990s. Following that, he recorded drums on Guns N’ Roses guitarist Izzy Stradlin’s first studio album.
