GWAR are the stars of their own comic book, GWAR: Orgasmageddon. It’s created by the band, writer Matt Miner, artist Jonathan Brandon Sawyer, colorist Marissa Louise, letterer Taylor Esposito, and editor Brendan Wright. They’re seeking funding via Kickstarter for the four-issue series (with a fifth issue if they hit their stretch goal). There are several rewards for supporting the campaign, and the two big ticket items are stage props used during GWAR tours: the bloody skull of Osama bin Laden and the decapitated head of Mitt Romney.

According to the descriptions, the bin Laden skull was introduced during their 2004 War Party Tour. It was sculpted by Oderus Urungus. During those shows, GWAR would rip off bin Laden’s face, revealing the skull. It’s “still bloody from the tour” and signed by the band. The head of Romney was revealed on the 2012 tour and is also signed by the band. “Mr. Romney never looked better, if you ask us,” they write.

Other incentives include painted drum heads, pieces of original art, tattooed portraits of GWAR members, a poster signed by members of the band including the late Oderus, a GWAR medallion, and much more. Five very lucky contributors will also have their likeness featured in the first issue of the comic getting killed by GWAR! Learn more here.

Below, find the video detailing the Kickstarter campaign, plus three covers from the comic. One variant, below, features a beheaded Donald Trump. (These guys are really into beheading public figures, huh?)
