Talib Kweli has enlisted Anderson .Paak for a new song produced by Kaytranada. Listen to “Traveling Light” below. The track is set to appear on Kweli’s new album Radio Silence, which is due out this Friday. The project features contributions from Amber Coffman, Jay Electronica, Bilal, Robert Glasper, Waka Flocka Flame, and others. When sitting down with Zane Lowe, Kweli explained that he was drawn to working with .Paak because of his “old soul.” “Anderson .Paak reminds me of when I first heard CeeLo Green,” Kweli told Lowe. “When you first hear CeeLo Green you think you're listening to a 60-year-old black man who's weathered and wrinkled and has lived some experiences. So, when I first met Anderson, I was like, how old are you?”

Kweli and .Paak have previously collaborated on the song “The Dreamer,” which appears on Anderson’s 2016 record Malibu. Later that year, Anderson hopped on “Glowed Up” from Kaytranada’s 99.9% album.
