London Town is an upcoming film featuring Jonathan Rhys Meyers, who plays the Clash’s Joe Strummer. Directed by Derrick Borte, it takes place in 1979 London, where a teenage punk named Shay (played by Daniel Huttlestone) encounters Strummer and the Clash. The actor previously portrayed a character based on David Bowie and other glam rock icons in the 1998 film Velvet Goldmine.
